CNC Lathe Operator – Tube & Rod

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lathe Operator – Tube & Rod to operate basic CNC machinery and support machining production while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.

This position is ideal for someone with basic CNC or manufacturing experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and performing repetitive work.

Shift Options

  • 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM
  • 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • End times may vary based on production targets and daily output needs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tube and rod lathe machines according to established work instructions.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools.
  • Identify and report non-conforming or defective products.
  • Complete and maintain required production documentation.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • Basic CNC or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math and measurement skills required.
  • Ability to understand and follow work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work planned and unplanned overtime as needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
