Job DetailsJob Location: Phoenix House - Sumterville, FL 33585Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $15.00Job Shift: SwingJob Purpose: - Phoenix House is a 12-bed Level II residential facility for adults with mental illness, designed to increase the level of functioning of the residents by providing training and skills development in the areas of residential and independent living via group and individual experience. The Behavioral Tech II is responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with behavioral health. This role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring adherence to prescribed interventions and therapies. - Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any significant changes, reporting these to the clinical team as necessary. - Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and facilitating group activities. - Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to safety protocols and responding to emergencies promptly and effectively. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. - Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care. - Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. Required Experience: - Minimum of One (1) years’ experience in substance abuse and mental health setting is required. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software. - Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
