Join the Physician’s Clinic at Community Memorial Hospital as an LPN and be part of a collaborative team focused on providing compassionate, efficient care to patients throughout their healthcare journey. In this role, you’ll work closely with providers and clinic staff to support high-quality patient care while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
  • Partner with providers and clinic staff to support timely, coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Assist with telephone triage, patient questions, and follow-up regarding health concerns and progress.
  • Document patient care, interventions, and clinical information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Provide coverage and support across Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, General Surgery, and other specialty services.
  • Contribute to efficient daily clinic operations and a positive, team-oriented patient experience.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing 
  • Must have a current license or certificate in the state of Iowa
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Understand the concepts, principles and practices of a clinic setting
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
