Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our dynamic endodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during endodontic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30-5:00 pm. Because we are an emergency based treatment practice, we sometimes work through lunch and/or stay late. You must have the ability to work through lunch and/or stay late.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take x-rays and CBCT scans as required, adhering to safety protocols
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
- Utilize dental software such as TDO patient records management
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and managing waste disposal.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant and have your RDA license
- CPR certified
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with x-ray procedures and equipment is required
