Position Summary:

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of facility infrastructure through preventive maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and general upkeep activities. This role supports building operations by identifying and correcting maintenance issues while maintaining compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

· Replace and repair ceiling tiles.

· Perform minor carpentry, cabinet repairs, and general handyman tasks.

· Inspect, monitor, and maintain dehumidifiers and related equipment.

· Conduct routine facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.

· Complete corrective maintenance activities resulting from inspections and assessments.

· Support facility safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

Qualifications:

· 1+ years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.

· Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and basic maintenance equipment.

· Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair practices.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong commitment to workplace safety.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
