The Bid Coordinator / Estimating Assistant  will be responsible for assisting the Estimating Department with performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting project bid documents, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Support the Estimating Department by performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting project bid documents, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.Prepare and organize documents and other various forms using Estimating/Project Management software, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft programs.Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls toappropriate individuals.Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personsaccording to their needs.Organize, maintain, and enter information into databases.Use computers for various applications, such as database management.Operate office equipment, such as copiers.Draft letters and documents; collect and organize information; initiating telecommunications.Maintain confidentiality of company information.Comply with Estimating department work instructions and Company established policies andprocedures.Escalation of person the Project Ad min reports to) recommendation for resolution.Perform additional assignments as required 

Qualifications

3 -5 years working in an administrative job, supporting management. Administrative experience

working in an Estimating Department preferred.

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Program  Experience using Bid Tracer software is a plus

High school diploma or GED required.Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing preferred.Excellent organization, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills Scheduling and time management skills Strategic, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
