Analyst Intern in Stockholm

Vaaka Partners is looking for students to join our team as Analyst Interns in Stockholm. These are fixed-term positions lasting 3-5 months, available in autumn 2027 and spring 2028.

About Vaaka Partners

We are a Nordic Private equity firm with over €0.5bn under management. We partner with mid-sized companies to drive e.g., operational improvements and international expansion. We are growing our investment team, with recent expansion to Sweden led by a local Stockholm-team.

About the Analyst Intern position

• A unique opportunity to work with one of the leading mid-market private equity teams in the Nordics.

• You will be an integral part of our case teams, involved in every phase of the investment process.

• You will participate in meetings with founders, management teams, industrial advisors, and other business leaders – not just desktop work.

• Your role will offer a broad introduction to Private Equity, incl. tasks like screening potential investments, conducting industry and financial analyses, and working on LBO models.

What we are looking for

• Genuine interest in private equity and desire to develop your skills in the field.

• Completed internship(s) in management consulting, investment banking, M&A, private equity or other relevant areas.

• At least 2 years of studies with excellent academic results.

• Solid analytical skills and the ability to solve problems independently.

• Strong communication & teamwork skills, fluency in English and Swedish.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and drive.
