In this position...Ā Ā
You will be responsible for ādepth and breadthā on all shifts/crews within a department, delivering all department scorecard objectives, owning processes (e.g., constraint management/VRT), standardization across all workstations within the area, planning change, determining continuous improvement opportunities, and serving as a change agent to drive the Ford Production System.Ā

Confirm standards are in placeĀ
Monitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the plantĀ
Develop, coach, and support to achieve SQDCPME objectivesĀ
Support issues raised by the teamsĀ
Coach, teach, and feedback on resolution of abnormalities, and validate closure of concerns (facilitates interim containment actions)Ā
Provide necessary resources to maintain production flow and confirm critical inputs are being performed to the acceptable standard(s)Ā
Plan maintenance tasks, monitor completion and effectiveness, and drive improvement and/or coaching opportunitiesĀ
Communication and RecognitionĀ
Enable a culture of learning through demonstration of effective communication skillsĀ
Respect and encourage respect of all team members by my actionsĀ

Competent in the use of data for decision makingĀ
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingĀ
Ability to work effectively as part of a teamĀ
Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problemsĀ
Work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessaryĀ
