Job Summary

As a Lead Premium Supervisor for Levy at Stanford University Athletics, you'll be responsible for managing the successful operations of the premium area’s during the event. You will work in partnership with operations to deliver "The Levy Difference" and ensure exceptional guest experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential clerical and administrative support outside of event days.
  • Manage staff communication and scheduling for upcoming events.
  • Handle email communication efficiently across relevant teams to support daily operations.
  • Help ensure all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are entered, updated, and finalized in a timely manner.
  • Oversee staff during events, and run events if multiple are happening at the same time.
  • Meet with managment before the event to go over details.
  • Thoroughly complete all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
  • Ensure all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
  • Remain knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
  • Handle guest issues and then report them up to managers.
  • Interact with ownership groups to ensure that their needs are met routinely.
  • Perform post-event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
  • Provide timely assistance to management to ensure all premium service exceed guest expectations.
  • Adhere to location appearance guidelines and employ good safety and sanitation practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years or more experience in foodservice or hospitality, specifically with VIP or premium experience. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience.
  • The ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Proficient use of office equipment and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential.
  • Ability to maintain close vision and focus for viewing computer screens and company documents.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing administrative tasks.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during event days.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone and in-person correspondence.
  • Must be flexible with your schedule and available to attend/execute special events outside of normal work hours.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
