Position Purpose:
Warehouse Operations & LeadershipÂ
- Lead and manage all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, inventory control, and shippingÂ
- Uphold the highest safety standards in alignment with the P&H Safety Action PlanÂ
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members; provide performance feedback and trainingÂ
- Ensure products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time using established systems and proceduresÂ
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environmentÂ
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely when requiredÂ
Inventory & Systems ManagementÂ
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolutionÂ
- Monitor purchase orders, transfers, and receiving activity to ensure timely and accurate processingÂ
- Work with the Branch Manager to research inventory variances and manage RTVsÂ
- Use barcode scanning systems and warehouse technology to maintain data accuracyÂ
Process Improvement & Operational ExcellenceÂ
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflows, and space utilizationÂ
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and error reductionÂ
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies to warehouse operationsÂ
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practicesÂ
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesÂ
- Support change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and toolsÂ
Customer & Cross-Functional SupportÂ
- Partner with branch leadership to support customer service goals and branch profitabilityÂ
- Interact with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and resolve operational issuesÂ
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth branch operationsÂ

Requirements
 Experience, Education & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or operations leadershipÂ
- Demonstrated experience improving operational processes, workflows, or efficiencyÂ
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement training or certification preferredÂ
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skillsÂ
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP/WMS platforms, and warehouse technologyÂ
- Results-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsÂ
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plusÂ
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers for warehouse and computer workÂ
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as neededÂ
- Moderate physical activity in a warehouse environmentÂ
