4-day work week

Second Shift Monday-Thursday 4:15PM-3:00AM

Job Summary:

Operate CNC machine centers such as vertical/horizontal mills and/or turning centers. Operate control consoles to produce precision aerospace products. The machining operation requires loading CNC programs and tool magazines and the set up and positioning of parts in holding fixtures; also edit programs as required to produce optimal results. Work independently with minimal direction from Team Leader, be a driver of positive change and help reduce losses throughout the operation.

Requirements


  •  Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form. 
  • Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data to compensate for machining deviation. Ability to perform mathematical calculations on fractions, percentages, decimals, and machine speeds/feeds.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a minimum  one to three years  related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
