Additional Information About the Role

Full time - 40 hours a week 

Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

No weekends and no holidays required 

Benefit Eligible Position 

Combination of working from home as well as traveling to BJC Facilities 

Primarily support 2-3 BJC Hospital Locations 

Need to be comfortable with traveling in Missouri & Illinois 

Mileage reimbursement for traveling to BJC Facility locations

Will be partnering with BJC Occupational Health and support facility needs

Prior experience in Safe Patient Handling is a plus!

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for the system-wide ergonomics program designed to reduce the cost of musculoskeletal injuries and prevent musculoskeletal injuries.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the selection and proper use of ergonomically correct tools and patient handling equipment.
  • Develops and conducts employee education.
  • Promotes safe patient handling programs.
  • Tracks and communicates injury reports and trends with hospital management.
  • Partners with occupational health departments to develop employee injury reduction and prevention projects.
