Role: Â Â
This position is responsible for creating a member-centric experience for Members who apply via the Online Branch queue to advance Blaze growth objectives while exemplifying superior member service and building positive member relationships. This position is responsible for handling internet applications from the branch online queue of Members wanting to apply to open an account. This position will be the main point of contact for the Member throughout the entire application process.Â
This position will review the credit report for the possibility to not only fulfill the member’s initial request but enhance the members’ experience by suggesting other products that Blaze offers that could save them time, money, offer protection and create convenience. In addition, this position will act as a resource to both the branch staff and members by displaying knowledge and expertise in the financial services field.
Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
 Â
- Using the Online Branch Service queue to recommend and sell Blaze products and services to ensure that the member’s financial needs and Blaze’s growth objectives are met.Â
- This includes identifying members’ financial needs and marketing appropriate Blaze products and services; consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals for accounts, loans, and partner referrals as set by management utilizing need-based sales and service skills, overseeing executing new account application process through the online branch queue.
- Â Using this interaction to further the relationship to include consumer loan process and following approved guidelines, maintaining knowledge of products and services, and following up on all service and sales leads in a timely basis (outbound calls and correspondence).
- Perform other duties to support effective branch operations; assist with Blaze Operational Excellence.
- Â This includes following Credit Union banking guidelines and efficiently processing all transactions,Â
- Â Ensuring policies and procedures are followed and accuracy of documentation to manage risk and reduce losses and maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

Requirements
Experience/Education/Certifications/LicensesÂ
- Minimum High School degree or equivalentÂ
- Minimum 1 to 2 years customer service or credit union experienceÂ
Demonstrated Knowledge
Skill of:Â
- Selling, including the ability to identify members' needs, to explain features and benefits of Blaze services, and to close sales opportunitiesÂ
- Typing Â
Ability to:Â
- Use a computer keyboard and calculatorÂ
- Learn to use various office equipmentÂ
- Be coached and meet sales and service expectationsÂ
Communication Skills
Ability to interact/respond to members/staff politely based on a general ‘script’; written communications are templatedÂ
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit an stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs Â

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $25.20 -$29.50/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.Â
