Do you know how to keep a dental office moving while still making patients feel like more than just the next name on the schedule?

St. Matthews Family Dental is searching for a Patient Coordinator who can take ownership of the patient experience and help keep our front office running smoothly. From answering the phone to navigating insurance questions and coordinating appointments, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys being busy, solving problems, and working closely with both patients and the clinical team.

This isn't a sit-at-the-front-and-answer-the-phone kind of position. You'll play an active role in helping patients navigate their dental care while keeping the day organized behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Handling

Your day will involve a mix of patient communication and front office responsibilities, including:

  • Keeping appointments scheduled and the daily calendar organized
  • Speaking with patients by phone and in person
  • Checking insurance information and helping patients understand their benefits
  • Processing payments and handling account questions
  • Maintaining patient information in the system
  • Supporting patients before, during, and after their appointments
  • Communicating with the clinical team to keep the schedule flowing
  • Jumping in to help wherever the office needs you

The Person We're Looking For

We're hoping to find someone who already understands the basics of working in a dental office and can confidently interact with patients.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have at least 6 months of dental front office experience
  • Understand dental scheduling and insurance verification
  • Are comfortable handling a busy phone line
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people
  • Can prioritize tasks without needing constant direction
  • Are reliable and take pride in being a team player

What You Can Expect From Us

  • $18–$24 per hour
  • Medical insurance
  • PTO
