- Planning Division - Capital Project Planning Program is responsible for developing/maintaining hydraulic models of the collection system and the identification/preliminary design of capital improvement projects to address deficiencies in the storm and sanitary collection system, pump stations, storage facilities and treatment facilities.
Essential Functions:

- Provides leadership and manages the daily operations of a program within the Engineering Department.
- Directs, develops, and motivates staff to meet the objectives that assist in achieving the District's strategic plan.
- Plan, organize and direct all activities of a program as required to achieve program goals.
- Manage and supervise the daily activities of personnel assigned to the program.
- Coordinate activities with other programs within the Division and the Department; maintain working relationship with public officials.
- Maintain records and prepare reports.
- Regular functions may include but are not limited to coordinating activities with District legal staff, coordinating activities with other Departments within the District, attend and/or conduct public hearings and presentations.

- May assist in developing departmental policies, procedures and guidelines
- Perform related duties as required or delegated by supervisor
