Description

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare jobsites for landscape and construction projects
Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, decks & other projects
Dig trenches, perform land clearing and prepare landscape areas
Plant and maintain lawns and garden beds
Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment
Safely operate hand and power tools
Perform basic daily equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance
Assist Crew Leaders with daily project needs
Read and follow basic plans, measurements and project specifications
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license
Landscaping or construction experience is a plus
Willing and able to learn new tools, equipment and skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
Dependable with good communication and time-management skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Working Conditions:

Fast paced environment, outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold. Some weekends may be required.
