Responsible for ensuring that materials are accurately tracked and handled in compliance with aerospace quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Receives, inspects, and documents incoming shipments
- Coordinates with Production Supervisor to issue all material to jobs through ERP system
- Ties material receipts into Epicor (the company’s integrated software system). Epicor is a real time system – material must be entered on the day received and issued when actual physical issue takes place
- Uses forklift to move large pieces of metal throughout the manufacturing facilities
- Tracks and files certifications for all raw materials
- Prepares material for use on jobs, including sawing stock to size when required
- Maintains accurate inventory records using ERP system
- Performs cycle counts and physical inventories
- Coordinates with purchasing, production, and logistics to prevent material shortages
- Tracks serialized and lot-controlled components
- Ensures compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements
- Investigates inventory discrepancies and implements corrective actions
- Prepares reports on inventory accuracy, material usage, and stock levels
Requirements:
- Ability to operate a motorized forklift
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with aerospace documentation and quality standards is a significant advantage
- Must be a US Person
