About the Job

As our Production Supervisor, you’re the hands-on leader on the floor for your shift. Working from the production plan set by the Production Manager, you’ll direct your crew’s day-to-day work—assigning operators to lines, leading shift start-up and handoff, and making the real-time calls that keep product moving safely and on schedule. You’ll coach your team in the moment, hold the line on our quality and safety standards at every step, handle changeovers and first-line troubleshooting, and escalate the bigger issues to the Production Manager. This is a role for someone who leads from the floor, not from behind a desk.

Shift & Schedule

This role is on Shift B, a rotating 14/14/12 schedule with two alternating work patterns:

  • Week Pattern 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Week Pattern 2: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

You’ll work two consecutive weeks on one pattern, then rotate to the other pattern for the next two consecutive weeks.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct your shift crew on the floor—assign operators to lines and adjust staffing as conditions change
  • Run the day’s production plan set by the Production Manager, keeping your lines on schedule
  • Lead shift start-up, end-of-shift handoff, and a daily team huddle to set priorities and flag issues
  • Hold the line on GMP, food-safety, and safety standards—line clearances, sanitation, correct PPE, and accurate documentation on every batch
  • Coach, train, and cross-train operators in the moment to build skills and flexibility across the crew
  • Handle line changeovers and first-line equipment troubleshooting; call in Maintenance when needed
  • Manage attendance and timekeeping, and address day-to-day performance and conduct on your shift
  • Complete production and batch records accurately and keep visual controls current
  • Escalate quality, staffing, and equipment issues to the Production Manager, and recommend improvements to methods and working conditions

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years in manufacturing or production, including at least 1 year leading a crew, line, or shift (lead, team lead, or supervisor)
  • Comfortable directing people on the floor and getting results through your team
  • Hands-on knowledge of production equipment, line changeovers, and first-line troubleshooting
  • Working understanding of GMP, food-safety, and safety practices (supplement, food, or beverage manufacturing a plus)
  • Able to read and follow batch records, SOPs, and visual controls, with strong attention to detail
  • Dependable and safety-first—ready to put in extra hours when production calls for it and show up for your crew
  • A clear communicator who can coach, give feedback, and keep a shift organized and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable with computers and everyday production tools (timekeeping, basic reporting, email)
  • On the production floor for most of your shift, where PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection is required in some areas

What Success Looks Like

In your first year and beyond, you’ll know you’re thriving in this role when you are consistently:

  • Safety first: keep your crew injury-free, with zero lost-time incidents on your shift
  • Quality: pass line clearances and audits, keep batch records right the first time, and hold first-pass yield at 98%+
  • Efficiency: keep your lines running to plan at 85%+ equipment effectiveness (OEE), with fast changeovers and minimal unplanned downtime
  • On schedule: hit your shift’s production targets and hand off on plan
  • People: keep your crew trained and cross-trained, with attendance and overtime on track
  • Standards & housekeeping: maintain a clean, audit-ready, GMP-compliant work area every shift

The Perks of Joining Our Team

  • Paid time off and holidays to help you unwind and recharge
  • Real opportunities to grow your skills and make an impact as we evolve
