Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor – RN to join our inpatient psychiatric care team. This position is ideal for a compassionate nursing leader who is committed to supporting children and adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment in a safe, structured, and patient-centered environment.

🩺 What You’ll Do

  • Maintain effective working relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients’ families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising services on assigned units to promote a positive patient care environment.
  • Conduct regular rounds on nursing units, including checking in with licensed and non-licensed staff, monitoring acutely ill patients, and greeting new admissions.
  • Support a team-focused culture that enhances quality of care and the overall patient experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff with assessments, care planning, prioritization, education, supplies, and medication availability.
  • Facilitate timely communication between nurses, providers, responsible parties, and outside vendors to support patient care needs.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate procedures and safety measures are followed.
  • Help ensure staffing needs are met across assigned units.

āœ… Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri or qualified compact license required.
  • Current CPR certification required; BLS certification preferred.
  • Ability to become certified in Handle with Care within 30 days of start date.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
  • Two years of inpatient behavioral health or mental health experience preferred.
  • Three years of nursing experience preferred.
