Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor ā RN to join our inpatient psychiatric care team. - Maintain effective working relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, patientsā families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist in coordinating and supervising services on assigned units to promote a positive patient care environment.
- Conduct regular rounds on nursing units, including checking in with licensed and non-licensed staff, monitoring acutely ill patients, and greeting new admissions.
- Support a team-focused culture that enhances quality of care and the overall patient experience.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff with assessments, care planning, prioritization, education, supplies, and medication availability.
- Facilitate timely communication between nurses, providers, responsible parties, and outside vendors to support patient care needs.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate procedures and safety measures are followed.
- Help ensure staffing needs are met across assigned units.
ā Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri or qualified compact license required.
- Current CPR certification required; BLS certification preferred.
- Ability to become certified in Handle with Care within 30 days of start date.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
- Two years of inpatient behavioral health or mental health experience preferred.
- Three years of nursing experience preferred.
