POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Development Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Product Development/Sourcing team throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization. This role is responsible for coordinating product data, managing samples, maintaining development timelines, supporting vendor communications, and ensuring the accuracy of product information within company systems.Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Product Sample - requests, receives, tracks, logs and organizes product samples from vendors/factories. Coordinates sample distribution to internal stakeholders.
- Centric/PLM -Â helps support product teams on systematic product/style setup, inclusive of style descriptions, product attributes, product images, specifications, assortment details, and launch information required by cross-functional teams.Â
- Collects all international packages to be sent, each day, to coordinate and consolidate shipments. This includes counter development samples, SIP’s and any documentation needed to be sent overseas. Communicates with appropriate parties notifying them of samples/documents being shipped, inclusive of tracking information.
- Provides administrative support including scheduling Vendor/Supplier meetings, coordinating calendars, preparing reports, maintaining files, and supporting departmental projects/presentations.Â
- Responsible for reviewing and submitting all invoices within the department, for management approval. This includes invoices for temporary help, fit models, Design contractors, and quality invoices for testing. Tracks payment of invoices and wire transfers.
- Orders and maintains department supplies on a weekly basis.
- Request samples from DC as needed for product review or meetings.
- All other duties as assigned

- Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends solutions.Â

- Makes recommendations that support product development processes, project execution, and operational efficiency.Â
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Design or BusinessÂ
- Experience: Entry level
