This position serves as a key resource for employees and managers, supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, training coordination, maintenance of personnel files, and department policies and documents. The Human Resources Coordinator acts as the Company Culture Leader and fosters positive employee experience and work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Act as the Company Culture Leader by coordinating employee recognition and engagement, including award programs, nominations, award distributions, and winner announcements. Plan and coordinate related events. Responsible for creation and distribution of employee Anniversary Cards. Issue and renew bus passes for hotel associates. Track associate referrals. Track and report approved drivers for DMV and insurance purposes. Apply for and renew minor certificates for each hotel to ensure compliance with employing minors. Create, update, and maintain employee files in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), in a timely manner. Provide support to HR Team with Unemployment, E-Verify/I-9, recruitment, billing, HR surveys, new hire orientation and other employee trainings. Participate in job fairs, hiring blitzes, and community outreach initiatives. Assist with sorting and distributing mail, packages, and shipments – requires the ability to transport items in personal vehicle weekly. Assist with inventory and procurement of office supplies. Coordination of HR documents, employee compliance requirements and other company programs. Create effective and professional correspondence, memorandums, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Collaborate effectively with other departments and external stakeholders and vendors. Support event planning for all company events and special events as needed. Assist with travel coordination as requested by the corporate team and for corporate visits and interviews. Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Perform administrative and other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum two years’ related experience required. Proficient with Microsoft 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams). Human Resources Information System (HRIS) experience preferred. Paycom experience a plus. Read, write, and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in-person within the company and with the public.
