Job Description: Under the direction of the Graduate Medical Education Director, maintains day to day administration of the ACGME residency training program and assists the Program Director with Graduate Medical Education activities including, recruiting, regulatory compliance and accreditation and management of financial resources. Functions as a liaison between the Program Director, Residents, GME Office, Faculty, Participating sites and other departments.


Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.

 

Experience: 3-5 years office administrative experience. Previous graduate medical education and/or prior healthcare services experience preferred.

 

Technical Skills: Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.

 

Other: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, make decisions independently, escalate issues as needed and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

 

Note: May require travel between GME training sites.
