Bark & Mane Mobile Grooming is looking for an experienced, professional groomer to step into an established and growing book of business in Williamson County.
This is not a position where you’ll need to wait months to build a clientele. You’ll be taking over an existing route with recurring clients and a strong appointment schedule that is currently pacing to generate approximately $1,400-$1,800 per week in groomer compensation, including average tips.

The Role
You’ll take ownership of an established Bark & Mane route and provide high-quality mobile grooming services directly at clients' homes. We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage a full grooming day while maintaining the quality and client experience our existing customers have come to expect.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete approximately 5–6 grooming appointments per day
- Perform full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, scissoring, nail care and breed-appropriate styling
- Assess coat condition, matting, skin concerns and grooming needs at the beginning of each appointment
- Communicate professionally with pet parents about their pet's groom and recommended schedule
- Provide a safe, patient, and positive experience for every dog
- Maintain accurate appointment timing and communicate promptly if running behind
- Clean and sanitize the grooming van throughout the day and complete end-of-day cleaning
- Help retain and rebook existing clients
- Treat the established client book as your own business and build strong relationships with the families on your route
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate has:
- Professional grooming experience
- Confidence completing full grooms independently
- Strong scissoring and breed-specific grooming skills
- Experience working with a variety of breeds, sizes, coat types and temperaments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliability and strong time-management skills
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A genuine desire to build relationships with clients and their pets
- Mobile grooming experience is a plus, but not required. We can train an experienced salon groomer on the mobile environment.
