About the Role:
Join REELSAFE SAFETY as an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace. We are dedicated to promoting a culture of safety and health, and we need passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals. This position is a Friday through Sunday full-time position and hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Odessa, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Provide training and support to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with management to promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies remain compliant.
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills to prepare for potential incidents.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
- Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or similar are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train diverse teams.
- Proficient in safety management software and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
