Our client in Spokane, WA is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst. This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting a growing manufacturing and operations-focused finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, accounting fundamentals, data analysis, and advanced Excel functions.

Pay - $54,080 - $68,640/year (Depending on experience, education, technical skills, and relevant experience)

Location - Spokane, WA (100% Onsite)

Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain current pricing and quote information within company systems

• Compare quoted pricing and gross margins against actual financial results

• Prepare and analyze reports related to gross margin, inventory, accounts receivable, and other key financial metrics

• Partner with Program Management, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve pricing and cost variances

• Analyze product costs, supplier pricing variances, manufacturing overhead, and work-order reporting

• Assist with customer quotations, pricing updates, and transfer-pricing accuracy

• Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities

• Create standard and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and business decisions

• Utilize Excel and data analysis tools to identify trends and communicate actionable insights

• Support factory planning initiatives, operational efficiencies, and continuous process improvement efforts

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field

• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation, and report creation

• Experience performing financial analysis and financial reporting

• Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements

• Experience identifying discrepancies, analyzing data, and communicating findings

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working with SQL or querying data is preferred

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple business units

Disqualifiers

• Lack of Excel reporting experience, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

• No understanding of financial reporting or accounting fundamentals

• No experience analyzing financial or operational data

• Unable to work onsite in Spokane, WA

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
