Inventory Lead

POSITION SUMMARY 

Perform a variety of duties in concurrent material movement such as physically moving pallets and product around warehouse space, and between sites. Provide products and services to our internal and external customers in a timely manner; properly maintaining all documentation and equipment. Train inventory personnel to perform job functions in a timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Cycle counting Inventory room to ensure proper stock is in our system

• Running and reading reports to properly track inventory

• Loading our MSC vending machines to proper fill amounts at both sites

• Staging the production floor with the necessary quantity and products in proper staging areas

• Continuous improvement in organization and cleanliness of inventory room

• Stocking production with the necessary products and amounts between both sites

• Deliver proper products to our customers in a friendly and timely manner

• Stocking inventory room with newly received items in proper locations and quantities

• Forklift duties (as assigned by dept. needs)

• Additions and withdraws in our inventory tracking system Shipping and Receiving

• Receiving packages from Tesla as well as our receiving dock

• Entering packages into our inventory tracking system

• Shipping out necessary packages to desired locations quickly and efficiently

• Train inventory personnel to do essential job functions.

• Keep adequate levels of material (consumables, PPE, inventory on hand)

• Order materials for inventory department as needed.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Regularly required to walk and sit

• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.

• Regularly required to communicate and listen.

• Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Occasionally required to team lift up to 75lbs.

• This employee will be in an environment with a moderate noise level.

• Close and color vision is required for computer use.
