As a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support in matters related to landlord-tenant cases. Your role will involve assisting attorneys, preparing legal documents, and interacting with others. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the landlord-tenant relationship and the related laws and regulations and a proven track record of supporting legal professionals in this field.聽

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:聽

路 Experience with Landlord-Tenant case filings, e-filing, court scheduling and drafting of pleadings is required.

路 Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing lease agreements, eviction notices, and other legal documents

路 Communicate with clients, tenants, and opposing counsel to gather necessary information

路 Prepare file (including e-filing) and organize documents for court filings and hearings.

路 Assist in case management, including scheduling and calendaring and maintain accurate and up-to-date legal files

路 Provide administrative support to attorneys and collaborate with other legal assistants and paralegals on the team to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction

路 Must exemplify good computer and telephone skills and be well organized.

路 Must be a team player who possesses a great work ethic, is self-motivated, professional, is comfortable learning new skills, and takes direction well.
