safety, quality productivity and other related performance goals of the Office by motivating, directing and guiding the staff for assigned assignments in their facility/office location. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, customer relations, and productivity of the office. Â Eligible for a $1500 sign on bonus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing the necessary leadership to plan, organize, assign tasks, direct, coordinate, and control the entire field office operation to meet all client relationships within the field office.
- Perform inspections for clients as required
- Interact and manage the relationship with on-site client personnel at field locations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, company policy and company required maintenance inspections
- Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
- Ensures that field office associates are properly trained and that their skills are developed to satisfy the operational goals of Aegeus Inspections to stay competitive, yet profitable.
- Responsible for knowledge and operation of Radiography in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
- Provide technical support for field operations on the following: PT, MT, RT, AWS, IRRSP when needed.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, and availability
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Must maintain a strong focus on cross functional teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Performs any other duties as may be required, from time to time, by the Regional Manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed
- Maintain staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results in partnership with human resources
- Review, validate, and approve reporting employees’ timesheet and reports.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent work experience and/or 5 plus years of progressive supervisory work experience preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing internal and external inspections.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
- Must be familiar with and able to implement Company safety policies and procedures.
