About the role

  • We are looking for a passionate Delivery & Warehouse Specialist Ā to support the deployment of Mobile Electric Vehicle charging operations across markets this includes operation, and maintenance activities across Roadie V2, Roadie V3 and V3 Hybrid Units and past and future charging products.. As a Delivery & Warehouse Specialist, you will provide on-site service for a variety of customers and help grow our mobile EV Charging Operations.Ā 

What you'll do

  • Unload & Deliver product from the Warehouse to the customers’ location, applying knowledge of driving regulations and roads in the area.
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicles, trailers, and product to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order, and to ensure that product is undamaged.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in adherence with established Company driving policies and procedures.Ā 
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to vehicles as required per company policies.
  • Load/unload SparkCharge EV charging equipment into a vehicle utilizing a pallet jack/forklift as well as manually lifting equipment that weighs 50-70lbs
  • Use GPS and SparkCharge’s app to locate customers
  • Promptly and meticulously documenting all service-related activities within SparkCharge’s Operating System
  • Demonstrate SparkCharge brand, mission, and purpose to customers through relevant human skills
  • Clearly communicate with customers to ensure their vehicle is accessible and ready to be charged
  • Safely operate SparkCharge charging equipmentĀ 
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and problem solve when necessary
  • Maintain the service vehicle in good working condition to ensure safe and efficient transportation & Keep vehicle fueled in accordance to management instructions and business needs and notifies management of needed repairs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Ability to communicate with team members verbally and written through company communication channels.

The ideal candidate should be able to

  • Adhere to established safe driving guidelines.
  • Use equipment such as forklift and pallet jack to load box trucks and vans, and remain certified to operate all such equipment.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner, following all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Drive: Day or Night Routes, Set or Dynamic Schedule
  • Have the ability to back up into tight situations such as Blind Side or Busy Street
  • Have the ability to drive a vehicle with a trailer
  • Work safely & well with yourself and others including: SparkCharge team members across different markets.,
  • Clean driving record

Qualifications

  • Clean Driver's license
  • Excellent or perfect driving record--no moving violations
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack/forklift
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
  • Customer service skills demonstrating the ability to confirm, reassure, or resolve customer concerns, issues, or apprehensions
  • Comfortable towing a trailer in a pick up truck
  • Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment (digital multi-meter, power meter, etc.), laptop/tablet, and smartphone
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check
  • Ability to use mobile apps and a computer
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proven history of being punctual, reliable, and courteous
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs multiple times per day
  • Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
