Description
 Polish - PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform job set-ups using the proper tooling and specialized tooling that may or may not be specified on a job setup sheet or a job traveler.
2. Identify and understand the use of specialized tooling, belts, wheels, compounds, and fixtures when necessary.
3. Maintain and perform proper operation of the grinding or deburring wheels used to produce product as indicated by training records.
4. Make necessary table offsets per wheel wear and dressing to maintain proper geometry and wheel life.
5. Maintain proper machine maintenance as specified on a daily basis.
6. Maintain and verify proper liquid levels, concentrations and solutions per specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) where applicable.Â
Verification and InspectionÂ
1. Read and interpret blue prints.
2. Utilize inspection equipment including comparators, micrometers, calipers, and any gauges such as pins, plugs and thread gages.
Communication Skills
1. Clearly communicate with manufacturing personnel to identify and correct non-conforming product during the manufacturing process.Â
2. Clearly communicate with Polish Department Supervisor and/or Director of Quality regarding inspection criteria.
Documentation
1.  Document production and non-conformance according to SOP’s and ISO certifications.
2. Â Accurately record work in process transactions.
Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma (or equivalent).
2. Medical and/or aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
B. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
1. Proficient in reading blueprints.
2. Proficient in usage of inspection equipment.
3. Must exhibit basic computer skills.
4. Must exhibit good basic math skills.
5. Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
