Restaurant Supervisor

Description

SUMMARY 

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in providing courteous and rapid service to diners by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversees daily restaurant operations

• Monitors complaints regarding food or service.

• Trains and monitors employees for proper service.

• Notifies payroll department regarding work schedules and time records.

• Executes details for banquets.

• Writes schedules

• Manages monthly inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

• Performs weekly transfer sheets.

• Stocks inventory in other departments

• Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching

• Addresses employee concerns and maintains a positive work environment

• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS  

• All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

• Must be certifiable through the Arizona Department of Gaming and the Cocopah Tribal Gaming Office.

• Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and on-going random drug testing.

• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or must obtain upon hire. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

• Associate's degree in a related field is preferred

• 2 years of supervisory work experience
