Weekly Pay: $1,250–$1,500
Freight: No-touch refrigerated freight | Nationwide lanes
Home Time: 12 days out, 2 full days home
Longer runs and nationwide freight coverage give CDL-A drivers based in Macon the opportunity to build productive weeks without relying on a limited regional freight network. Refrigerated loads move across multiple parts of the country, creating a steady mix of long-haul routes while the 12-day schedule provides planned home time at the end of each work cycle.
No-touch refrigerated loads
12 days out with 2 full days home
Automatic sleeper trucks
Paid orientation with travel covered
How the Freight Runs
This position handles refrigerated freight moving through nationwide lanes. Drivers can expect longer trips across multiple states rather than staying within one small operating area. Loads are no-touch and include both drop-and-hook freight and scheduled live deliveries depending on the customer and location.
The broader running area gives dispatch flexibility when planning the next trip and helps keep freight options available as drivers move from one market to another. The focus is on productive driving time, steady freight movement, and reducing unnecessary gaps between assignments.
Weekly Earnings
Average weekly pay ranges from $1,250 to $1,500 based on mileage, trip length, and productivity. The long-haul structure provides drivers with opportunities to accumulate miles over extended runs instead of depending primarily on shorter trips.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance become available after 30 days. Orientation is paid, and travel expenses for orientation are covered.
Schedule and Home Time
Drivers spend 12 days on the road followed by 2 full days at home. This schedule is designed for Class A CDL drivers who are comfortable with nationwide operations but still want established home time built into their rotation.
Dispatch plans trips ahead whenever possible so drivers have better visibility into upcoming freight and can move efficiently from one assignment to the next.
Truck Information
Automatic sleeper trucks are assigned for this fleet. Equipment is maintained on a routine preventive maintenance schedule to support long-distance operations and help limit avoidable downtime while drivers are on the road.
