Position Summary
This position is an integral part of the medical and nursing teams, ensuring client flow and providing quality client care in a safe and timely manner.
Location and Schedule
- Location : 2428 W Reynolds Avenue Centralia, WA 98531
- FTE/Hours: 1.0FTE/40-hours
- Shifts Available: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Range
$22.55 - $27.49 DOE
What You’ll Bring
- Must have Washington State Medical Assistant Certification.
- Minimum one-year experience as an MA Assistant preferred.
- Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. National background check may be required if lived outside of WA in last 3 years.
What You’ll Do
- Administer permitted medications under a valid order and the delegation and supervision of an authorized healthcare practitioner. Observe clients for and promptly report medication reactions, side effects, or other concerns to the supervising practitioner.
- Coordinate follow-up on referrals and support continuity of care.
- Obtain and document medical histories, medication information, and vital signs as directed.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided and relevant clinical or behavioral observations.
- Coordinate laboratory orders and communicate results to medical providers in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
- Coordinate services with community medical providers and other members of the integrated care team.
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding client contact and direct service hours and work toward established productivity expectations.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards, appropriate boundaries, and client confidentiality.
- Maintain clinical records and prepare reports in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.
- Maintain required credentials and participate in training and professional development relevant to the position.
- Perform other duties within the MA-C scope of practice as assigned, delegated, and supervised.

Employees working at least 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) are eligible for all other applicable benefits.
- Voluntary benefits: Supplemental term life insurance, legal services, fraud and identity protection, HSA, FSA, dependent care FSA, and pet insurance, subject to applicable plan terms.
- Retirement benefits: After six months of employment, Cascade contributes 5% of your gross earnings to a 401(k) each month—no employee contribution or match is required.
- Support toward licensure: Team Managers may provide required supervision hours at no cost to employees working toward licensure.
- License and certification reimbursement: Cascade reimburses the cost of required Department of Health license renewals and other job-related certifications, such as DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification.
