The Internal Communications Manager is a part of the human resources team and is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that connect team members to the firm's culture, leadership, values, and business objectives. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, creating clear, engaging, and impactful communications that drive employee engagement, support organizational change, strengthen culture, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies that support firm priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to craft executive communications, presentations, announcements, talking points, and leadership messaging.
- Create and manage content for emails, intranet sites, town halls, videos, recognition programs, and employee campaigns.
- Lead communication planning and messaging for organizational changes, new initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
- Manage and optimize internal communication channels, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams.
- Ensure consistency of employee brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all internal communications.
- Track communication effectiveness and campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement innovative communication practices and technologies, including AI-powered tools and digital communication platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting executive leaders and managing organizational communications.
- Strong understanding of change management and employee engagement principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and communication technologies.
- Strong project management, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
