Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Relations in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, document observations using a computer or tablet, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while providing professional communication and support to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
