  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role, and the salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 annually.
  • The QA Tech will also assist with employee training and communicate with stakeholders to resolve non-compliance issues.

Responsible for monitors and/or verifies food safety and quality of products and processes per company guidelines. The QA Tech enforces employee GMPs and safety practices as well as monitors sanitation and the condition of equipment and facility. Also, performs other tasks as necessary to safeguard the interest of the Raybern Quality Foods.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

  • Monitor and/or verify HACCP Plan and CCP’s
  • SQF responsibilities including but not limited to documentation, inspections, auditing, validation and verification of processes, standards, work instructions, SOP’s, specifications, policies and practices
  • Perform quality testing on finished products to ensure compliance to standards, and specifications
  • Monitor equipment and facility sanitation
  • Monitor and enforces employee GMP practices
  • Monitor and enforces food safety and quality of incoming goods
  • Verify formulations and production processes
  • Retain product and/or product samples
  • Ensure label accuracy
  • Assist with employee training and evaluates training effectiveness
  • Assist with the monitoring of pest control and pest control contractor
  • Monitor food defense
  • Create, maintain and file documentation on all activities
  • Assists R&D on product samples, formulations and pilot runs
  • Communicates with appropriate stakeholders and helps to resolve non-compliance activities
  • Responsible for chemical, physical, sensory testing and maintenance of lab equipment
