We’re Looking For A(n): HR Manager

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage the recruiting, staffing, and onboarding for all employees at the manufacturing plant
  • Provide expertise and direction to leaders on challenging and complex employee relations issues
  • Support the plant's performance review, merit planning, and bonus planning cycles, including managing communication to employees and providing direction and training to leaders
  • Partner with leaders to identify high potential employees or gaps in skills, build succession depth and bench strength to the teams 
  • Partner with EHS on the reporting and management of workers' compensation cases
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready fils and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and applicable wage and hour requirements
  • Provide leadership, direction and development opportunities to the plant's HR team
  • Maintain a visible, trusted presence on the production floor, building relationships with leaders and employees
  • Serve as the facility's primary HR partner to plant leadership on workforce planning, people decisions, employee development and employee programs

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field; Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, Psychology, or other related field preferred
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in HR in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment
  • PHR or SHRM-CP is perferred
