The EHR Support/EHR Clinical Trainer is a key member of the organization who focuses on training employees to utilize their skills at the top of their licensure and/or degree. This position will be responsible for all aspects of electronic documentation and work with all departments to identify continuing education needs. This position works with minimal supervision and must be proactive in diagnosing problems and capable of formulating and implementing fixes so that worker downtime can be marginalized. Management of on-going requirements of the EHR application is critical, as is ensuring effective end-user support. This position will be responsible for master clinical applications and optimizing the applications for specific workflows. The EHR Support/EHR Clinical Trainer will also be a key member of the Training Program and work directly with other training staff, Nurse Educator, Lead LPN, Lead Dental Assistant, Lead PSR Trainer, Dental Clinic Coordinator, and PH/QI Director. The EHR Support/EHR Clinical Trainer position requires the ability to adapt to change as needed. The EHR Support/EHR Clinical Trainer must possess an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare applications, technology, and classroom training in health information systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
路 Possess high school diploma or equivalent
路 Possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing license or certification in medical assisting and/or dental assisting.
路 At least 1 year of direct experience with eClinicalWorks platform
路 At least 3 years of direct experience with an Electronic Health Record platform
路 Previous training and support experience preferred.
路 Possess advanced keyboard skills and computer knowledge
路 Requires attention to detail and accountability.
路 Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
路 Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality at all times
路 Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required
路 Must maintain excellent attendance
路聽BLS Certification and/or willingness to obtain through KTCH
