Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing authorized access credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries, and provide professional assistance and information to individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
