The Boeing CompanyBoeing is currently seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Digital Forensic Examiner to perform eDiscovery and Digital Forensics to join the Enterprise Digital Forensics team in Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; or Seal Beach, CA. Â
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high volume environment supporting attorneys, paralegals, and investigators across the enterprise by identifying, collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence. An ideal applicant will communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals as well as with all levels of management and third parties, work autonomously, be a team player, and maintain confidentiality in all sensitive matters.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and/or perform eDiscovery collections and legal-hold preservation activities
Conduct digital forensics across broad and sometimes technology profiles that can include multiple systems
Determine incident scope, nature, technical mechanisms, and personnel involvement
Identify incident path and method
Collect and preserve evidence
Perform user/event correlation and analysis
Define and monitor time critical risk mitigation steps
Draft, review and deliver digital forensic reports and make recommendations for future team and technical method process enhancements
Provide testimony in administrative and criminal hearings
Research and propose undefined technical response methods, tools and processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, including Incident Response, Computer Forensics, and/or E-Discovery
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Technical bachelor’s degree
Network Security certifications
eDiscovery and/or Computer Forensics certifications
Experience using eDiscovery and digital forensics tools beyond the classroom environment
Experience with Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
Experience drafting technical findings reports based on network and/or system analysis to include incident path and user attribution
Experience with tools that may include, but are not limited to enterprise eDiscovery applications, Sherpa Software’s Discovery Attender, AccessData’s Forensic Toolkit (FTK), XWays, Cellebrite, Magnet Forensics Axiom or Internet Evidence Finder (IEF), F-Response, hardware write blockers, Passware, Splunk, etc.
Experience performing computer and/or network incident log analysis or computing related hardware and/or software investigations
Experience with strong personal time management skills to effectively meet production deadlines
Experience with strong analytical skills
Experience with programming and/or scripting languages
Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and automation technologies
