The right candidate for this fully on-site role will be familiar with manufacturing, equipment and processes in order to provide top quality engineering services that make the transition from customer specifications to design and actual manufacturing as effective and consistent as possible. To learn more about the Carbide Manufacturing at Penn United, please visit https://www.pennunited.com/carbide-manufacturing/   What You'll Do:   Perform engineering, designing and detailing tasks using a CAD system Work with customers and internal teams on design for manufacturing concepts and detailing for the carbide manufacturing processes Engineer internal prints and parts according to customer specifications Design internal part prints from customer designs to optimize machining effectiveness and manufacturing cycle times Research and problem solve any process and part issues due to internal print designs. Collaborate with all internal teams and customers on improving design, efficiency and productivity to ensure the customers final product and goals are met.
