The Assistant Plant Manager will direct and manage the aggregate operations for a facility with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for a safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises hourly production employees
  • Ensures safety and health policies are followed
  • Complies with environmental programs, guidelines and policies
  • Provides training to the hourly workforce
  • Fosters positive teamwork
  • Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to reach production targets
  • Provides input to process improvements
  • May participate in project or planning activities that go beyond day-to-day supervision of the team


Qualifications:

Minimum Education Details

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Valid US Driver's license

  • 4+ years related experience
