Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. Our Room Attendants play an essential role in the guest experience, ensuring each guest room is exceptionally clean, thoughtfully presented, and ready to meet the standards of our luxury urban resort.

This role is ideal for an experienced hotel housekeeping professional who understands the pace, precision, and consistency required in a full-service hospitality environment.

This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.

What you'll do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to Hotel Bardo cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards
• Make beds, clean bathrooms, refresh linens, and ensure each room is thoroughly prepared for arriving and staying guests
• Restock guest amenities, linens, and housekeeping supplies according to hotel standards
• Identify and report maintenance needs, damaged items, and other room concerns promptly
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping leadership and other departments regarding room status and guest needs
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner
• Maintain organized carts, supplies, and assigned work areas
• Work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistency throughout the shift
• Support the Housekeeping team as needed to ensure rooms are ready on time and the guest experience is never compromised

Qualifications

• Previous professional housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment is required
• Experience in an upscale, luxury, or full-service hotel environment strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of hotel guest room cleaning, room presentation, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to meet productivity expectations while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail
• Comfortable interacting professionally with hotel guests and responding to basic guest requests
• Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
• Professional appearance and a genuine commitment to hospitality
