Job description:

Alter Trading is looking to add a Class-A CDL Driver to its Sardis, MSSardis, facility. Onsite Local Driving Only, Home Every Night.

Brief Summary:

Operates a truck picking up metal within specified area.
Wait to be loaded by either Alter or customer and drive loads to customer or Alter.
Secure the Load based on type of truck or box.
Follow company safety standards at all times, including PPE and attending monthly safety meetings.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to insure motor vehicle is in safe operating condition
Communicate with dispatcher concerning delays, unsafe routes, accidents, equipment breakdowns
Other responsibilities as assigned.
