Oakmont Gardens is recruiting for a hospitality focused Temporary Maintenance Assistant to join our team!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant:
- 1. Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.Â
- 2. Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.Â
- 3. Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.Â
- 4. Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.Â
- 5. Perform minor building and equipment repairs.Â
- 6. Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- 1. The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English languageÂ
- 2. Good communication skills (oral and written)Â
- 3. Good inter-department communication and teamwork skillsÂ
- 4. Capable of administering employee incentive, retention and training programsÂ
- 5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
Wage: $18-24 depending on experienceÂ
Willing to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
