Laboratory Assistant at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Perform functions to support the pathologist and medical staff. Assist with maintenance of Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance and Quality Control for the pathology department. Assist with specific functions associated with the operation of the pathology department under the direction of the pathology manager, including collection, registration and accession of pathology specimens into the LIS, MEDITECH, and other duties assigned by the pathology manager.

Required Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: 2 years of college
1 year experience as a clinical lab assistant in an acute care laboratory

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
