Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.   K Prime, a Family Company of Applied Technical Services, was founded by Ph.D. Analytical Chemists as a consulting firm offering litigation support and data validation services for high-profile court cases involving product liability, wrongful death, as well as large sampling and analysis projects. The K Prime Laboratory was developed to address the needs of K Prime’s consulting chemists and their clients.  The K Prime Air Toxics laboratory began providing EPA TO-14 analysis from SUMMA canisters in 1989 and added additional testing capability over time, focused on supporting attorneys, manufacturing and engineering firms, as well as governmental organizations, with the highest quality data and services.     Position Summary The Chemistry Technician I supports daily laboratory operations by preparing samples for analysis, assisting chemists with testing activities, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, and ensuring compliance with quality control and safety procedures. Responsibilities Prepare organic and inorganic samples for laboratory analysis. Log, track, batch, and process samples with required quality control measures. Assist chemists with sample preparation, testing, reagent preparation, reporting, and sample disposal. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, glassware, equipment, and operational logs. Receive and process incoming sample and supply deliveries. Manage inventory and assist with ordering laboratory and shipping supplies. Complete chain-of-custody documentation and maintain laboratory records. Assemble and ship sample container kits. Assist with preparation of laboratory reports, invoices, and client deliverables. Support special client requests and other laboratory projects as needed. Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.     Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related sciences preferred. Previous laboratory experience preferred; environmental, analytical, chemical, or winery laboratory experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong math, written, and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
