The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with sales to grow TI's analog revenue with a Tier-1 customer
- Work closely with FAE peers to grow our analog content
- Support the full design cycle from proposal, schematic, layout and debug.
- Work with the Product line to ensure right product fit for the customer and provide guidance on new product definitions and roadmap.
- Build relationships with key system and power engineers; collaborate on new projects and introducing new TI products.
