Stein Law seeks to add an estate planning attorney to our growing firm. Our ideal candidate is an attorney with 3 to 5 years of recent experience in estate planning with taxable estates, with an inclination to learn about federal income tax and entity taxation.
This is an on-site, full-time position located in the Sandy Springs, Georgia office.

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience in estate planning with taxable estates, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts
· Excellent research, writing, and drafting skills
· Knowledge of estate, gift, and GST tax implications
· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external advisors

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with advanced estate planning structures, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs), Spousal Lifetime Access Non-Grantor Trusts (SLANTs), Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDITs), Dynastic Trusts, and offshore Trusts
· Familiarity with trust decanting, restructuring, and multi-generational planning strategies
· Experience with trust administration and settlement of complex estates
· Exposure to or willingness to develop expertise in Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) structures and integration with estate plans
Responsibilities:
· Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts.
· Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and/ or asset protection.
· Conduct client meetings to understand their goals and provide tailored legal solutions.
· Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to ensure comprehensive client care.
· Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
· Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters as needed.
· Research various issues including income, estate, Chapter 14, GSTT, and entity taxation.
· Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and/ or asset protection.
· Conduct client meetings to understand their goals and provide tailored legal solutions.
· Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to ensure comprehensive client care.
· Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
· Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters as needed.
· Research various issues including income, estate, Chapter 14, GSTT, and entity taxation.
