In addition to a championship level golf course, Peacock Gap has a full-service restaurant, the Range Café, plus the largest event center in Marin County, The Clubhouse, providing beautiful meeting spaces for groups from eight to twelve hundred.  For more information about us, visit our website https://www.peacockgapgolfclub.com    POSITION SUMMARY:   The General Manager is responsible for the overall facility.  The position will actively manage all operations including budgeting, strategic planning, staffing, organization, and training of Golf, Range Cafe, and The Clubhouse event center. This position will also lead and delegate as necessary to achieve objectives in revenue, event and restaurant sales, costs, employee retention, guest service, satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:  $108,300 - $133,200 annually based on relevant experience   Quarterly and annual incentive bonus opportunities.  Paid Time Off.  Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account.  401K, up to 4% company matching contributions.  Location discounts and free golf    JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:  Work in coordination with the Course Superintendent to ensure the golf course and range is maintained to the established golf standards.  Lead the sales and events team to drive revenue and provide first class event service.  Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently purchased, inventories, secured, prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.  Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling, loss prevention and reconciliation procedures.  Responsible for recruiting, staffing, training, developing and evaluating staff.  Provide effective leadership and communication to employees.  Prepare budget that includes all revenue sources and expenses and monthly spreads.  Manage departments to achieve and exceed budget targets.  Administers, develops and enforces all Club rules, regulations, and procedures for the staff and customers.   QUALIFICATIONS:  At least five years of hospitality, golf, food and beverage and event operations experience, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations.
